The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League’s Hearst Lumberjacks have brought forward Wage Auger back to the NOJHL for the 2017 – 2017 season after the 2016 – 2017 season with the Eskis in Iroquois Falls, Ontario.
The 20 year old forward played in 47 regular season games with the Eskis where the 6’0” and 165 lbs forward sank 15 goals and added 19 assists to his season total. The Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan native tallied 22 minutes in penalties in 47 games while sinking two goal and two assists in three post – season games in the spring of 2017 with Iroquois Falls.
Hearst coach Lafleur says Auger “brings a 200 foot game and will be expected to lead on and off the ice. Wade brings a lot of grit and passion to the game, which will help the Lumberjacks towards their quest for a Championship season.”
