NOJHL Crunch Headed to Nation’s Captial for Jr ‘A’ Spring Combine

Cochrane CrunchGeneral Manager/Head coach of the Eastern division champions Ryan Leonard of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League Cochrane Crunch has decided to do something different for the preparation of 2015 – 2016 NOJHL hockey season.

With a massive renovation and overhaul at the Tim Hortons Event Centre in Cochrane with the facility being fitted for VIP seating and press boxes to accommodate the faithful Crunch fans, the Crunch will head to the nation’s capital to take part in a Junior ‘A’ Hockey Combine that attracts NCAA Division I coaches. The combine will consist of on and off the ice training as well as practices and games for the Crunch coaching staff and NCAA coaches to evaluate the players.

Coach Leonard the Junior Hockey Network that “his NOJHL organization will be taking 15 players and 2 goalies to Ottawa to face other junior ‘A’ hockey players from across the province.”
