6’2” and 175 lbs Niagara Falls native, Venzon played for his hometown Niagara Falls Canucks and Pelham Panthers during the Greater Ontario Junior B Hockey League 2016- 2017 season with sinking nine goals and contributing 16 assists while accumulating 20 minutes in penalites in 37 GOJHL regular season games.

“Jeff had a tough season last year being injured in a USHL camp and then choosing to take the full year to rehab to get back to 100%. Jeff has good size, skates well and will bring skill to our line up. He is working hard to get back to playing next year and we are excited to see him in main camp and this season” said Strachan.
