Laker coach Wayne Strachan told the Junior Hockey Network that “You never like to lose but there were a lot of positives that out weighed the negatives I believe. We have things to work on it’s our first week and first game. They played hard and had break downs and we played hard and had break downs. In the end I thought we had better scoring chances and both goalies played very well. We will move on and look forward to seeing them again on Wednesday.”
The Lakers will now travel to Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota on Wednesday September 13th to face the Iron Rangers in a 7:00 p.m puck drop.
