GMHL Whalers Luscombe and Sivilotti Continuing Hockey Careers

After finishing their junior hockey careers with the Greater Metro Hockey League’s 2016 – 2017 Russell Cup champions, the Niagara Whalers, Blake Luscombe and Paolo Sivilotti are continuing their hockey careers with heading to play hockey for the fall of 2017.

Hamilton, Ontario native Luscombe will be heading to Sweden to play with the Söderhamn/Ljusne of the Sweden Division 2. In ten regular season games with the Whalers, the 5’9” and 170 lbs forward sunk 12 goals and added 18 assists along with sinking eleven goals and contributing 27 assists in 12 post – season match – ups with Niagara.

6’0” and 160 lbs Fort Erie, Ontario native Sivilotti will be joining the Mercyhurst D1 ACHA Lakers for the fall of 2017. In 34 regular season games in the GMHL with Niagara, the blueliner had six goals and 15 helpers while adding three goals and 14 contributors in 13 play – off games in the spring of 2017 and helping the Whalers to a 2017 GMHL championship.
